Covid-19 Business Update
As the UK prepares to reopen following the coronavirus lockdown, Tyneside Group is doing everything possible to keep staff and customers safe. We’re excited that our office is now open, but we’re not taking anything for granted. We know we all have to do our bit to make sure everyone stays safe, so in addition to the basic requirements of social distancing and hand sanitiser stations throughout the office, we have also added plenty of extra measures to keep our workplace Covid-Secure.
Visiting our Office
To make our office safe for staff and visitors, we have installed double-glazed, floor-to-ceiling screens to divide our public waiting area and meeting room off from the rest of the office. All visitors are required to pre-book an appointment and, in line with Government guidance on Retail Premises, all visitors are asked to wear face coverings. Customer-facing staff have also been provided with face visors, allowing for clear communication, while also keeping everyone protected.
No-handle doors
All our doors have been fitted with foot opening mechanisms to reduce the touching of shared surfaces and make our office a safer place to be.
Protected small areas
Luckily most of our office is an open space, but where there is less space, we’re taking extra measures to adhere to social distancing. Our staircase is fitted with a video doorbell to approve one person in the space at a time, and a new post box has been fitted at the top of the stairs to make dropping off keys safe and easy for tenants.
Covid-safe viewings
When it comes to viewings, we’re determined to do things safely. We’ve already been making the most out of 360° online viewings, but they’re now more important than ever. To make online viewings the best we can, we are utilising fantastic 360° technology to showcase our landlords’ properties.
If a potential tenant wants to view a property, we’re making sure our in-person viewings are safe for staff, viewers and tenants - we’re prepared with masks, gloves and sanitiser to keep everyone safe.
We’re ready to get back to business, and we’re dedicated to doing so in a safe way which is compliant with Government guidelines. If you have any questions regarding our Covid-Secure measures, get in touch with the team today.
